Singles Dating and Keeping It Simple

It used to be that in order to get a date, someone set you up. Sometimes, you met a nice person in your daily travels, but this was complicated and resulted in blind dates and going out with people you barely knew. In today’s world, singles dating and keeping it simple is what it’s all about.

If you’ve ever been set up on a blind date, you know that it’s awkward. Not knowing what they will look like, or even though everyone says they’re such a great person, as soon as you meet you know it’s going to be a long night because the person is just not your type.

So you go through an evening of trying to be polite and wishing that it would hurry up and end. While this isn’t always the case, more times than not, you wish you had stayed home and read a good book for the evening.

When you meet people when you’re out and about--in the grocery store, at the mall, etc., you have a little bit more control. If there is no attraction, you don’t have to talk to them. But what about the ones that are nice and polite and after a few telephone conversations and dates, you start to see their true colors slipping out?

Meeting someone via the Internet, you have a chance to read their profile and find out more about them before any conversation. That’s not to say that everyone will tell you everything or even if they're telling the truth, but you are in total control and it’s much easier to send someone a “Thanks but no thanks" message via email than in person.

If you’re all for the singles dating and keeping it simple only, there is a great site you should visit. There are a variety of singles and I’m sure a few that might interest you.
